Worth the Wait is an abstinence education program that goes into the Winston Salem Forsyth County schools to encourage teens to wait to have sex until marriage, and debunks the myth that there is a "safe" way of having casual sex.
The program has two sides; a medical presentation and a drama presentation. The medical team consists of medical professionals and the drama team consists of students from high school age to college age who share the passion for the message of waiting to have sex. We encourage teens to make better choices for their lives through our medical presentations and our humor-filled drama presentations.
We have a lot of fun, while sending a good and powerful message to the eighth-grade students of WSFC schools. Come join the FUN! Be part of something BIG! |
