The first facet of Worth the Wait is highly integral to the entire program. In the medical program, the students are separated by gender and are shown a PowerPoint presentation given by trained doctors and nurses. This aspect of Worth the Wait focuses on the prevelance and pervasiveness of Sexually Transmitted Infections. Being a part of Worth the Wait in this capacity is a vital way for our medical community to make an enormous difference for future generations.
