We understand that many parents are particularly protective of what their child learns regarding sexual education. You may rest assured that the Worth the Wait program stresses abstinence until marriage. In the medical program, students are divided by gender. Our medical professionals discuss the consequences of sexual activity, focusing primarily on Sexually Transmitted Infections. The presentation includes images of infections, though males are shown only male infections and females shown only female infections. The drama performance emphasizes the emotional consequences of sex before marriage. Heartbreak, condoms, STIs, and the intricacies of relationships are discussed in broad terms. Please feel free to contact Jen Maurer at jenspcc@triad.rr.com with any further questions or concerns.

Abstinence education begins at home. Our program is only a very small fraction of the education your child gets about receives. They learn about sex through school, friends, music, television, and most powerfully...you. Talk to your child about sex today.
